Well, would you believe it, a typhoon blew up in Halong Bay, and all the boat trips were cancelled. (Of course, my tour company didn't bother telling me until I'd checked out of my hotel and sat waiting for nearly an hour) So here I am, still in Hanoi, at a bit of a loose end. After convincing him to bring the meal back, I also asked for a napkin to wipe the sauce from my face. With no luck I ended up going to the toilet and grabbing some toilet paper.
