... English well because they worked for a UK telecommunications company answering phone calls. We shared so much about each other and had a great night. They couldn't get over that an American was in Košice, because most of them hadn't meet a person from the States in 'years'. They were saying 'why are you here, how did you know where Slovakia is'; but, common grounds were met. One guy wanted to talk about how great the U.S. Constitution is, and how important my 'vote' ...

Well, I thought the six hours here would be enough to walk the city center, then catch my evening train into Hungary. Wouldn't you know it, it pounding rain. I could barely get out of the train station for a look around. I did manage to make it a few blocks, wet jean bottoms and hoody, but what I saw got me really interested and enthused. ...

... called "Plato Units" and are a measure of specific gravity, which is a measure of the amount of barley used, and therefore sugar extracted. Long story short - the higher the plato unit, the more flavor, and therefore a higher price. This is different from alcohol content, which of course is also listed. Cool. So a bud light in the US might have a Plato unit of about 6, or very little flavor!
