We got here from Miramar Beach about 2 today. The park is another live in place but not at all trashy. The spot we are in turned out to be nice. One whole side in facing green space. Mickey loved it! We made a run to Costco for supplies for Atlanta and the girls coming to visit us! Is that wishful thinking? Costco was empty! Had a wonderful meal at a Mexican restaurant El Amigo! The best tamales ever!! ...

... beautiful but peaceful and relaxing. We drove back to Pensacola from here to visit the National Aviation Museum and it was fascinating. I think that all of the volunteers here are former pilots,and there were many of them. They all loved to share their experiences and it was wonderful to hear their stories. Needless to say, John was in his glory. Many of the visitors were quite elderly, in other words, John and I felt young which doesn't happen very often these days. ...

Saturday, Angela Livingston, Gini Steinberg and I enjoyed walking around downtown Selma and even crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge. We met Kelly, Meredith and Kathy at a Mexican Restaurant downtown for lunch.
