... d met some more Irish folk (why are they always Irish?) and of course Derek was tagging along, and we had a couple of drinks in the hostel before we left. The drinks were accompanied by a very violent game of whist, but in this game you had to bet beforehand on how many rounds you would win. Good fun! The first was a Shiraz from Mendoza and the second Malbec of the night was from the northern part of Patagonia and packed a punch. It was very well balanced but at 15.1% alcohol is no light weight.

      Wednesday 30th October - Day 37

At midday Kelly and I had a warm reunion at Buenos Aires train station! We'd both had a great time apart but it was such a nice feeling to finally have the team back together and ready to explore a new place - Tigre (read about Kelly's adventure with the Harry Krishna's here).
