Last day of our trip to HK/Macau. We check out of Ibis North Point, bid good-bye to HK and retrace our steps back to HK International Airport at Chek Lap Kok on Lantau Island by 11 am. The flight by Thai Airways to BKK is at 2 pm and we're left with 2+ hours to laze around the airport. She had a mangy old shitzu dog on the stool beside her and was dividing packs of cigarettes into plastic bags containing 4 each. The cafe had a french flag -guesthouse out back, old white haired european lady sat inside and 2 french guys outside.

... pretty view- the best part of the whole island. We sat there as I went off about how the malaria mosquitoes only come out between 6 and 8 pm (it was 6:15). My dad said, "Well, the A students would go inside right now then." We continued sitting there and I dosed myself with some more bug spray. I wasn't going to give up this view and the only bit of calm we'd had all day for some stinkin' mosquitoes.
