So after roughly a 2 hour bus ride from Bangkok to Pattaya, dad and I hopped in the back of a taxi (read: modified pickup truck) with a guy right outside the bus station. My gut told me that dude was going to screw us over. He told us that he could get us to the ferry station and on the boat to Koh Larn for 100 baht each. I knew the cost of the ferry itself was 30 baht and I didn't think the guy had some ferry connection, but he kept saying that it included the boat. ...
