... the van. It looked like a very nice town, and was also RV friendly. We were sorely tempted to stay and check it out, but we had only travelled about 40 kms, and had our booking for the night. Near the outskirts of town was a shop selling "Fredo's famous pies." Lots of specialty pie shops in these parts.

We went floating on the river again and it was more fun cause I borrowed a noodle from Ann. Ann and Jeff came with us and then they showed us how to catch yabbies with this tube thing that sucks up the sand and the little critters (little shrimp) that hide in the sand. Then we used them for bait for fishing. It was fun. Ann caught 2-1keeper and ...

... of whales moving along the coast right up until mid-November. Some people claim to see some – we’re sceptical as it’s a bit tricky to make out – maybe we did, maybe we didn’t! Then we head back and enjoy the very pleasant harbour beach while having a nice picnic lunch. We head back. Coffs Harbour is definitely very quiet, at least at the moment – there don’t seem to be huge numbers of people around which ...
