We did see various other wildlife including Ground Squirrels (very cute), Bald Eagle (immense), chipmunks, Flippers (otherwise called Woodpeckers), Snow Toed Hares (bottom of the food chain here bless them), a Dipper Bird (the only bird that swims under water), and a Giant Toad.

The ranch was gorgeous - they only take 8 people at a time and the 4 cabins are beautiful. You spend each day with a sunrise drive to look for grizzlies along their river, then a morning activity like a hike, then an afternoon activity like white water rafting and then ...

Pete is sad that its not as comfortable as the Jeep, Nina is happy as she can see over the steering wheel. Drove 8.5 hours today and 500 miles to Kaslo, a small town in BC. It is amazing you can drive that far but still ...
