    ... a tourist. We found out that he is from Hong Kong and was on his way to Sapporo tonight and then to Hakodate tomorrow. I thought he didn't look Japanese and his English was way too good.

    ... and found the Blue Pond not to far away from Biei. It was quite busy,but Sunday is for most of them their only free day in the week. And we were lucky coming early, just when we left the cars were queuing for kilometers to go to the Blue Pond. The Blue Pond is basically more blue in picture than in real life.     ... by the different hostels they saw and decided to create their own. It is a small hostel, it only has two bedrooms with a few bunk beds. It is a whole wooden hostel. Basically everything is made out of wood. And there are lots of windows with look outs over the mountains. We quickly dropped our stuff on the beds and left for a drive through and around Furano.
