... kayaks to rent, fire pits to sit next to when the sun went down. We went straight in the swimming pool and then tried out the hammocks! It was a nice chill out time and good reflecting time. The next morning we got up extra early to try out the kayak before we checked out. It was a great idea. We paddled along the coast line and ended up going into some mangroves which had iguanas and fish swimming around in. I didn't realise how big the iguanas are! I thought it ...

... find a small conch, but not much else. A women we met shared a rumor that there was a sawfish in the little inlet, but we saw no sign of that.

As the sun started going down, we headed over to the tennis courts to play a few games and it was great. I played join my sandals which was dumb, and at one point fell and skinned my knees and chin. It was awkward! After a quick shower it was up to the Bunker unit for a great chicken dinner and some rummicub.

... at first but quickly calmed down. We still had all evening to kill so I made new energy balls with the supplies we had bought in Florida City. They are so delicious, last for a month and are the perfect snack when we are hiking or right before a workout. Like little energy packed balls of happiness. For supper we made some sausages and finished our lentil stew. We ended our night like we end many of our nights. Podcasts, videogames and star trek. It’s a hard life we ...

... head within a nanosecond! I was completely covered in white, sugary foam and was sputtering uncontrollably but everyone else was laughing too hard to be able to help me. Good thing whipped cream tastes good and doesn’t sting the eyes. Yikes!

Later we drove into ‘town’ to rent some sea kayaks for the next day. The kayak rental place was *very* informal and the guy said if we paid cash he would bring them down to our campsite later that afternoon. Sounds ...

... to get an audition the week after we get back. Serious excitement for Phoebe. She has decided to sing 'favourite things' from sound of music as her audition piece and so has been singing it all around the van all evening!

Ru cooked supper this evening as my stomach is feeling so dodgy. Then we watched Forrest Gump in the van and went to sleep.

Tomorrow we're going to take the bus to Key West to have a look around.
