... it is time to move on the a new country. Still, Ko Lanta is worth the detour. It has nice beaches, views and vibe. The island has an underdeveloped feel to it that you can't find elsewhere. Most restaurants are just bamboo shacks and many hotels, bamboo bungalows. ...

... the day before - although what we didn't realise was our wooden hut we had booked was up the hill near the viewpoint. 15 sweaty minutes later we got to our room - greeted by the hotel staff with a quick glass of water before they even gave us our key it's safe to say we probably didn't look our best. ... dont want to Get a taxi over to the new beach Still feeling good, will probably pay for this later. We grab an hours sleep, get up and go in search of coffee beer and somewhere to watch the sunset. Back to Finns bar to read on the beach. Sun goes down behind a load of cloud again, but looks awesome anyway. Into the green chillis restaurant for more Thai curries and then back so Leah can go to bed. She's on an early snorkel trip ...
