Good rates, comfortable, clean lodging with gorgeous period bathroom. Right next to the lake for sunset and sunrise photo op's, and within walking distance of Carthage town. Short drive to Red Oaks Village. Highly recommend this hotel - so does Gary Turner.....don't know who he is? Get on the road and find out....

... dogs, but the fireworks that surrounded our house all day and night were an added layer of stress for them. Chelsee handles this stuff pretty well, I think she was actually ****** that we were packing rather than sad. She stayed in bed except when the fireworks were really bad and she was under our bed. Hydee, on the other hand, was a wreck. She stayed right at our feet, jumped in our lap as soon as we ...

Getting ready for this trip has been quite a journey in itself. We have dealt with itinerary changes, constant questioning of our plans, shots and fevers, shopping, returning, packing, repacking... In February, we were trying to decide where to go and settled on using our miles to finally go to South Africa. What started as ...

We knew that we had a long trip ahead so we decided not to stay too long so we were done by 12:00. We meant and toyed with the idea of heading to the City Museum which is a ...

It looked like safer travel to connect again to I 35 and go down into Texas. We made reservations at a Good Sam Club park in Oklahoma City(OKC)and looked forward to hooking up to water and sewer and relaxing for a couple of days. Life is improving...the high in OKC is forecast as a high of ...

We drove from Tennessee through Kentucky, Illinois and into Missouri. We spent the night in Springfield. And although we drove into a gorgeous sunset our motel was quite awful. It is the only time we had a poor experience. Nevertheless, we got up the next morning, ...
