... we went for a walk to the gondola which is near our apartment. It took us to the top of the mountain and we had a little hike across the slopes to have a look around. It is a ski resort at the moment but we just walked around and had a look, turns out the slopes are mostly advanced there.

Thursday we went in search of snow and a smaller slope to get back into skiing on. We went off in one direction and realised after a little while we ...

There are certain places where if one suffers from vertigo, then should pass them without looking down too much. However it is not a "via ferrata" where one is climbing on some chains hammered into the side of the mountain.

Four days flew by and it was time to move on further south to the coast close to Comacchio by the Adriatic ...

      Back to Austria?

A travel blog entry by rolandandlinda on Sep 18, 2014

Time to leave Valle Verde. Decided to give Austria
another try as we are hearing that the weather has improved. However, with low
cloud this morning, there is little point in going over the high Dolomite
      passes.

Decided to go north through Moena and then west over a lower
pass to Bolzano. As expected, the low cloud made for little viewing of the
      mountain peaks.

Went north to Bressanone but stayed on a ...
