... s hair is still being straightened. The shuttle driver warned us we had to be there at 4:50 as he cannot park at the pick-up spot so would only have one shot or we would miss out. We wondered if Neil should pay and head to the pick up to at least get him to hang on or head down the road to pick Nay up, but the hairdresser gets the hint, finishes and we make a run for it along the road to the pick up point where the driver pulls in dead on 4:50!

... on scooters. Yet it would all be okay when we got there. How wrong we were. Seminak is perfectly fine, but again for those staying at a spa. These imposing buildings lock away their guests from the troubles of the outside world and leave the dirty beach for the rest of us. We went out a couple nights in Kuta, because that's what you do, and obviously for NYE, and all I can say was that it was messy. First day in Bali

He brought us for dinner in Kuta nearby our hotel, where we had nasi padang which was almost similar to our Indian food. It was definitely a fulfilling dinner and a great start for us in Bali.

We checked in at Bakung Sari Hotel and was greeted warmly by the hotel staff who also taught us a few Indonesion words and phrases.

Day 7

... suit me, maybe only when I have explored all there is to see elsewhere (maybe they have).
Once again they see a few friends at the beach and enjoy a bintang.
I arrange to meet them at Dayus in a couple of hours for a massage, manicure, pedicure and hair cream bath.
Prettied up, polished and relaxed, we have dinner at Dayu 1 across the road (no relation ) and then head back to hotel.
We have had no internet for 2 days and Air Asia ...
