... and as we are being bussed to arrivals we notice our cases being unloaded. Sigh, breath and smile.

We arrive at Rocky's Resort (starting to get the pun now ?) and its very nice, set into some slight cliffs and buried under lush tropical vegetation, our balcony overlooks the sea. I choose the lobster stir fried in yellow curry sauce which is on special in the restaurant, and it has to rank as one of my top 10 ...

... restaurant was voted one of the top ten in the world by UK magazine. I so want to come back again and spend a couple of weeks here. I got up early and went down to the beach to take some sunrise pictures before a little swim. I met another American on the beach that was teaching school in China. ... tomorrow after lunchtime he would pick us up and take us up to the villa. Wahey!!!! The next morning we checked out at 11, and drove the moped back to where we got it from. We managed to get us both on, with both our big backpacks! We must of looked hilarious riding down the strip. It was only a 2-minute drive away and we made it in one piece. We gave the bike back, and text Bob. He told us to go to Lamai McDonalds and he would meet us there. We grabbed a Songthaew to Lamai ...

Today was packed full! Amazing! I relaxed by the ocean at breakfast. Eating rambutan, dragon fruit and drinking Guava juice - which I love. When my luggage was still who knows where this morning, I ventured on foot to the local convenience store. My curiosity got the best of me and I kept walking until I had made it to my first temple of the trip - The Big Buddha. I shopped a little there but what ...
