    ... buy it in the hope that we won't need it!

    We are waiting in a little Hotel near Gatwick to head to Avoriaz, via Geneva, in the morning. The snow is melting! They have lost 1/2 a metre in the last week. This link will get you the webcam nteractive-tour/pictures-videos-and-web cam?tab=webcam

    ... it was a well-managed exhibit with artifacts that date back to one of the first kings of England. There were enormous diamonds and jewels in crowns and solid gold serving plates for special royal occasions. It made me feel like a princess just looking at the artifacts! Later in the day, we went to the National Gallery and the Apollo Victoria theater to see “Wicked”. What an experience to see ...

    ... so set off up the Thames on our bikes. The track was great. It went down loads of green cycle paths and small residential streets with fancy houses. We lost the path at one point but ended up cycling down a really nice deserted path through some trees and a creek and eventually joined back up after scaring the bejeezus out of a dog that refused to walk past our bikes.
