... loved our Row B stalls seats, with marvellous view into the pit, and of the conductor, Daniel Oren. George and I have previously seen operas there, but only from the very top, where there are a couple of rows of seats and standing room. Churches and choral singing - Hearing Cathedral choirs in top form is always something you hope for in London. There seem to be fewer Choral Evensongs than in years gone by, though there are also a number of special Christmas events at this time ...

... there were a lot of people at the actual flatwarming... they were all bloody couples! I guess this shouldn't have come as a surprise being that the flat consists of three couples... there were only like four single people at the event and three of us were girls. Needless to say... we didn't stay for very long. Grabbed maccas and then headed home.

... early whilst I holidays I feel you thinking? Turns out a tour of the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studios will do the trick. Being a bit out of London I had about an hour and half journey with the tube and train and bus to ensure I'd be there before 8:30am. Such an ungodly hour to be awake on holidays, but well worth the effort. The tour features sets (such as the Great Hall, Gryffindor common room and dormitory, potions classroom, Dumbledore's office and even part of Privet Drive), ...
