... loved our Row B stalls seats, with marvellous view into the pit, and of the conductor, Daniel Oren. George and I have previously seen operas there, but only from the very top, where there are a couple of rows of seats and standing room. Churches and choral singing - Hearing Cathedral choirs in top form is always something you hope for in London. There seem to be fewer Choral Evensongs than in years gone by, though there are also a number of special Christmas events at this time ...

We are waiting in a little Hotel near Gatwick to head to Avoriaz, via Geneva, in the morning. The snow is melting! They have lost 1/2 a metre in the last week. This link will get you the webcam

... there were a lot of people at the actual flatwarming... they were all bloody couples! I guess this shouldn't have come as a surprise being that the flat consists of three couples... there were only like four single people at the event and three of us were girls. And because I was doing the colour run the next day, I couldn't even drink a lot!
Needless to say... we didn't stay for very long. Grabbed maccas and then headed home.

... early whilst I holidays I feel you thinking? Turns out a tour of the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studios will do the trick. Being a bit out of London I had about an hour and half journey with the tube and train and bus to ensure I'd be there before 8:30am. Such an ungodly hour to be awake on holidays, but well worth the effort.
