... Family. Bit of a shame we have bought all our food already as the restaurants on Ocean Drive smell and look amazing but we need to save the pennies. The clouds rolled in this arvo so we chilled in the apartment booking stuff for the South American leg of our journey and watching Pete turn redder by the minute. ... The first of these was my brief return to the 'civilised’ world of the U-S of A for a week of fun in the sun with two of my best friends from home, Kate and Nick, in Florida. And of course, the only time when there are people waiting for me, it took TWO hours to get from the plane, through immigration to my baggage. It was agonising!
