      ... degrees of humid heat lined up to greet me.The airport was hectic,but not taxing in any way,backpack retrieved off the luggage belt,a quick walk to terminal 2 to pick up my hotel transfer and I was checked in and up in the room within half an hour of leaving the airport.

      So,I am here and it is a relief and no mishaps,I retire to bed tonight with a satisfied grin....The door of South America is open..... tomorrow we go to ...

      ... time I've been to an airport with no metro. You have to pay a taxi - no way around it except maybe a bus to who-knows-where, then another bus. No, do the taxi. It takes about 30-45 minutes to the Moema or other central areas and will cost you about $R150 - $75. Exchange rate is 2 reais to 1 dollar.

      People here in Brazil are so friendly and nice. A girl I was with in the bus saw me with Lari and gave me a thumbs up! haha! I wouldn't know what could've happened to me if the couple didn't help me at all. I also realized with this trip that I am very courageous.
