Only here for 1 night for a connection onto Iguazu falls This is Brazil's largest city. We had a morning stroll to Ibirapuera park which is in the city centre and watched a bit of the marathon that was taking place. We have loved Brazil and now very excited to see Argentina! Next stop ...
... the US. So, a little adjustment needed going forward. All of us were full of meat, but I had a veal dish anyway. It was very good.
We walked for about 40 minutes looking for this restauraunt but we were back to the hotel in 10 minutes. It was almost a straight shot down Paulista Ave so even though it was late in the evening, I thought it was pretty safe. Not to mention, this street has such big police presence.

The lanes grew in number, along with the number of people, homes, barrios, favelas, signs of multinational corporations, and buildings in all directions. ... Chicago at 9:35pm, so we settled in to our seats and prepared for sleep. Our flight from Chicago to Sao Paulo, Brasil, was 10 hrs and 5 minutes. When we awoke, it was morning and time for breakfast. It's fun to eat breakfast at 10,000 feet in the air. What a view!
