      ... about 12 degrees here and raining... So we decided to hit the beach (of course). So Kathy organised our 2 hour route to the beach and we were on our way. First we navigated the subway and got a train (actually not as hard as we thought it would be). And this was actually pretty exciting.       ... find it everywhere! We ended up at a place that served AYCE sushi, but also all kinds of other good stuff. One thing that I heard of was Brazilian barbecue called Rodizio. It's been my dream to be surrounded by waiters with skewers of perfectly cooked meat. The owner of this restaurant was the only one that could communicate with us, he gave us some recommendations on where to get the best rodizio in town... for US$70 per person but assured us it was well worth it.

      After an 8 hour flight from Miami, we arrived at Sao Paulo GRU International Airport at 5:30 am.This international airport needs major work. Almost no one speaks English and the signage is horrible. Unloading baggage took over 1 hour and many passengers missed connecting flights. We were told that this is not unusual. Fortunately our flight to Iguassu had been rescheduled ...

      ... cause or outcry of injustice for the simple pleasure of mindless destruction. You cause more hardship than the general complaint and do nothing to promote social justice. It is destruction for the pleasure of the act, nothing more and it's sad. Sad to witness and such a waste of energy.

      ... Brazil is traditionally know for the amount of meat that they have with every meal and there was no shortage at lunch today. The fresh cooked pig, sausage, jerk beef, and dried beef with onions were nothing short of delicious. I finished off with some overly sweet butterscotch pudding, and an ice cold Bohemia cerveja.
