... the city a lot with a great night out with local guys on the weekend and the Biogen HR Team on Monday. SP isn't huge with more than 20 million citizens including the suburbs. On the other hand, it is Brazil's business capital and not a typcial tourist city. I'm sure I will have more photos to share after the Easter Weekend in Rio de Janeiro! ...

I've obviously been to smaller places with less going on but that's understandable, but it terms of big cities it's certainly in the top (or bottom!) few. ... sup> most 'courteous' country in 2012- well deserved! Every time we needed assistance, people were very friendly and willing. When we made it to the hostel, there had been a bit of a mix-up with our reservation (on both our parts) and we had been booked into the 8 bedroom dorm. They didn’t have any other spare rooms, but the owner was extremely helpful and helped find us another hostel for the next 4 nights. It was a shame, because the hostel was a really nice place with a ...

... affluent Jardins area around Paulista and visited the small but interesting MASP (Museum of Art of Sao Paolo). On our last night, we explored the buzzing area around Baixo Augusta, where there were crowds of people spilling out of the bars and clubs lining the streets. We headed to a bar that we had heard about called Z Carniceria which had a butchery theme. Interesting. The door handles were meat cleavers and I enjoyed a tasty cocktail called a “Sirloin Passion”; ...
