This is Karaoke but with a live backing band. the fact that we could get a seat for the first time should've have been an indicator but we sat through two songs of John from Iowa screeching away.     At least it didin't come down to a coin toss, as both options had great things going for them, but in the end, we chose to spend the day wandering through the town of Siracusa and Ortigia, rather than the seaside resort of Taormina.

    First, we packed up our bags for our room change - the only downside of showing up in Catania one day early - and headed downstairs for one of the most extensive(and delicious) Buffet breakfasts I've ever seen ...

    Met at the bus stop by my phone ringing. Roberto piled us all plus bags into his little merc, I was sitting on graham bag.
    Apartment lovely but quite a few step, 4th floor. Lucky Roberto carried jen n my bags. Fabulous balcony/roon top patio were we breakfast watching the rich n famous in their yachts.
    Only 28/30 here - cool.

    ... bruschetta and was drinking beer. We were at dinner for a couple of hours, talking the whole time! There first language was German but there English was really good! They said it was because they watch a lot of TV series in English! Haha so there just like me!
