... keepers had these birds trained to the point where they could have them swoop across the crowd causing people to go rolling for safety. At one point one of the condors wings glanced my head as I ducked for cover as it returned to its owners arm. Really impressive half hour display from birds with wing spans taller than me. Arriving in Vience was like stepping into a surreal never never land. Where most cities have car choked roads ...

... 30pm and it was still really warm. Made sure we used the restaurant loo's as we have seen no public toilets. And finished off with an ice cream each at the standard €2.50.
Walking back through St Marcos Square there was a small orchestra on each side playing, both with a large audience. Lots of people were still shopping and eating dinner but we were tired so went back to our hotel and to sleep. My verdict on our cruise on the Costa Fascinosa: it was a very, very ...

... flat. No problem though as the bell boy quickly brought us extras. The bathroom was nice with adequate space for toiletries. There was a hair dryer. The shower/tub was very, very narrow with a hand held shower. It was enclosed with glass shower doors. Europe has lots of new technology and it is different from the new technology that I don't understand at home. I understood this even less. I could not, for the life of ...
