... it had a chair lift and
these log cabin style hotel rooms that look like something you would see in Aspen. Everyone is walking around in ski or snow board boots and there are like 50 different people flying down this small snow covered hill. It was so bizarre to watch people ski through a window and then turn around and see that you are inside a mall. I have to admit, I was pretty impressed by the malls in Dubai. Still don't like malls though.

... sun to a freezing snow dome with real drag lifts and chair lifts and perfect runs (no moguls, ice, rocks etc.) which take all of 2 minutes to complete! Putting on one's havianas after removing ski boots is seriously weird!
I am now back at the chalk-face for the last 4 weeks of exam marking, report writing and general teaching, before hanging up my mortar board and swapping a desk for a comfy armchair and a tartan rug and embroidery (oh yeah?)
