... we were ferried across by tender boat. We had elected to go snorkeling which was a good choice, as we are by now feeling all churched, museumed, history and facted out, and there is nothing as relaxing as swimming amongst a school of fish in a clear ocean to make one feel chilled out! We had taken our own gear, so were first into the water at the first spot the Catamaran stopped which was a little Bay with some coral reefs. We saw lots of angel fish, a couple of ...

Weird. But, yeah, worst night of my trip, by far. ...

... to a different destination and your flight's been cancelled. Nevertheless, we made it to Rio. Found our hotel, the Santa Clara, and our attention was drawn to a list of rules, copies of which were posted on every available wall space. "Pets are not allowed to entertain in rooms", we were warned. Well, fair enough. Also, apparently guests of the opposite sex were not allowed to stay overnight in ...

... waves splash over us. We were wrongly equipped to the beach and the locals were sort of staring us when we were violating the dress code and using towels under us while sitting on the beach and I guess several other things which a true Brazilian would never do on the beach. So, we walked to the other end of the beach, water up to our knees sometimes. Waves were splashing over us. From the Leme part of the beach we admired the Copacabana beach in it's all beauty. You could ...
