    ... hug this little girl with all her might as a final goodbye brought tears to my eyes. I cannot even put into words the pride and joy that I felt at that moment, but I'm so thankful to have witnessed it.

    Running on the beach in 30 degrees heat and 90% humidity is hard work!!!

    I ran barefoot once, sprint training in the soft sand...it was a mistake as all of my toes blistered.
