... legs of the female together but sometimes the male elephant tries to kill the female if he decides he doesn't like her, causing some of the injuries we saw. You can see from my photos how cute the smallest female elephant is at 5 months old. They eat tons of fruit and vegetables every day and we were able to help with this as well as getting in the river to help wash them. ... does.. after all he's not a travel agent and thinks we should know what we're doing and where were going, which we should,.. however doesn't go that way and nowhere near it.. Before we'd even got off the bus at the Border young guys were jumping on the bus asking where you were heading,, so you say "Koh Chang"!... He looks at your ticket and says "come this way, mini bus waiting" thinking he is the driver ...

... tipsy! They were 6.9% each and apparently that's unregulated so who knows how strong it is really! With an early bus the next day we decided to leave it at that and instead indulge in a bit if street food. The next day we caught a mini bus all the way to the island of Ko Chang and 8 hours later, a short ferry crossing and a lot of laughs with a Thai lady included, we finally arrived at our cottages on the south of the island. I woke this morning with a smile on my face. Thailand for new years. AKA Sonkran. The streets have been filled with pools, squirt guns and kids heaving as much water as possible to passerbys from their pails, buckets and pots. I have managed to escape many of their attempts but shared their joy when drenched with valiant efforts to drench the young ones while they run around like little ants recently disturbed. ... like to advise fellow travellers to never stay at the 'Convenient Resort Hotel’ located near Suvarnabhumi Airport. The ONLY positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it is convenient, for the airport. We stayed for one night before catching our flight early the following morning, we even tried to change our flights to leave earlier so we didn’t have to sleep there!
