... and on the pier is a lovely wall of memory where local people write messages to loved ones that are no longer with them. Port Macquarie also has a stunning lighthouse which has immense views up and down the coastline. We didn;t get chance but apparently the Koala hospital is worth a visit too. Admission by donation. It's such a good cause.

Tomorrow we leave for Port Stephens.

... 18 and were all so helpful and polite. I was made to feel so welcome. Kirsten took me to see some of the local sights which was like something out of Home & Away, beautiful. Quiet evening with the kids watching I am Number Four. Next day Ken & Bernadette took me for a drive and I saw the Big Banana, lookouts and beaches. ... House Tavern because they had heaps of things for kids to do. We really need something like that in Sydney! There was a big playground with things to climb on and slide down, a jumping castle, a big TV and lots of playstations. I played a few games on the playstation, and got a PB on the Toy Story game :)

Another great day was over, but I was looking forward to seeing the seals and dolphins tomorrow, so I needed to get some sleep.
