... river and walked down to the famous Charles Bridge. As we were going through the old gate, a group of performers sprucing their show came by, interacting with the crowd. Talk about crowed, like the castle grounds full of tourists and tour groups. The bridge has little pop up stores such jewellery, art work etc. lots walking to and from the old town to the castle and vis a versa. But I felt it lacked the atmosphere we experienced in Ghent and wurzburg. ...

It was nice to have a short bus ride for once! We arrived around 2:00pm. We got to our Plus Prague hostel and let me tell you it was something else. They had a pool, sauna, a restaurant attached and really nice rooms. Our original room wasn't getting any internet, so we complained to the reception and surprisingly they got on it right away. The day finished with a splurge to see Don Giovanni performed in the same theatre where Mozart premiered it.

... we were staying at our Grandma's place. We headed out for a great meal and a few local beers to round out a long day. The next day we decided to stay on one side of the river and walked up hill to Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral. Both stand imposingly above the city and have been the scene of many important battles, murders, and revolutions affecting a vast area of Eastern Europe over the past 1000 years. It is also the site of the much ...

... I got back it was 4pm and prime nap time. After a refreshing nap and chill out I made my way to the banks of the river for twilight. It was spectacular. I saw the bridges, the palace and a few other fancy buildings lit beautifully and stumbled across a free concert where a band were doing bluesy jazz covers of popular songs (when I say down they were doing Lady Gaga's Poker Face very well). When it was getting dark and late I made my way back stopping by the basilica which was lit ...
