    Our journey south the previous day had taken us out of Queensland and into New South Wales (incidentally changing the clocks forward by an hour as we drove through Coolangatta).     On Sunday November 23, we again went to Jimboomba and had the afternoon and a bbq tea with Karen Parker, her two daughters and husbands before packing up on Monday morning and heading to the Mullumbimby Showgrounds via Rathdowney, Kyogle and Lismore. We took a back road from Lismore through some amazing scenery in the hills overlooking Byron Bay and the coast. Found a nice spot at the showgrounds - lots of nice green ...

    ... she too ran on water. The second pool was heated, although a bit cool and I only lasted about 5 minutes, before noticing up in the back corner, hidden away was a huge spa. The temperature was set one below scalding, but the mix of cold pool and hot spa was perfect.     ... sand and realised it was a stingray... So we got the ball and moved out the water lol. The last day before we left we went on a walk to some botanical gardens. On the way there we saw a red bellied black snake basking in the sun by the river. 1st wild snake I've seen here and it wasn't small... But was good to see. Was sad to leave Coffs as was a nice little place but we were finally going to Byron where we had planned to be a week earlier ...
