    ... other house in the hills overlooking the town. Pole house with a pool on 7 acres. Lovely views across the valley and to the coast. They gave us the rundown of what they required and invited us to tea with them. We parked the van and got ourselves settled. Jim and Ursula picked us up later and shouted us tea at a local tavern - very nice evening. We will be here for two weeks until December 28th before heading off again. ...

    ... windscreen was fitted successfully this morning whilst we browsed the local shops. It was good to head out of busy Coffs with all its traffic lights and backtrack east to Bellingen, or Bello as the locals call it. This peaceful country town on the banks of the Bellinger River showcases wide verandas and shop awnings with intricate metal lacework that hawk back to yesteryear.     Hi all, John has been doing such a good job at blogging, I thought I would leave him to it but just wanted to add this bit. The colours of clothes in the shops and boutiques in Australia are so mouth watering I think it must be infuenced by the beautiful sunshine here.

    We had to check out of our room at 10am this morning. We asked if we could leave our backpacks somewhere and they said yes in an under stairs cupboard. Such a relief we thought we were going to have to carry them round all day!! We looked around the shopping centre and had a muffin and drink for breakfast which had free wifi too!!
