... amazing place. We camped the night at Rankins Springs Caravan Park before heading for home on Wednesday December 31. We arrived home about 3.00 p.m. exactly 8 months after leaving on May 1.

It was a great trip - lots of interesting places and experiences - also met some very nice people, some of which we will keep in contact with. Thanks for following our blog and hope you have enjoyed our travels.

What I paid for was to swim with a dolphin for 30 minutes, watching it do tricks and all sorts...it was worth every penny!!! After a morning filled with dolphin swimming we took out the free surf boards from the hostel and went down to the beach where Callum wanted ...

The path is tarmaced, because otherwise it would become eroded, tricky for walking and slippery when wet, but otherwise the forest is natural and unspoilt in any way. It's cool and damp and smells of soil and rotting wood and decay. Its a fight for light in there and the vegetation has to either grow very tall, and the trees are massive, or it has to cling onto ...
