... were sure that the dirt track opposite was the short cut back to the hotel, Helen and I were not so sure, however we trusted their instincts and they were right!! Saved us a very long hot walk. The shorter people (Helen and I) had to swim across, but Div and Gary managed to but all the backpacks on their head and wade neck deep across the river to our track "home".

6.30pm and time to jump on the train to Surat Thani from Bangkok. Train station is a rather busy place with a huge floor in the middle full of people sitting and waiting for their train. Finally everyone for Koh Tao was called to embark the crappiest boat I have ever seen, I actually thought for a second it was a ...

We had a little wooden bungalow on stilts in the middle of the jungle, run by a lovely lady who called herself mama, the Mosquitos nets came in handy!! We did a lake and trekking your while we were there. The day got off to a great start with me getting stubg by a ginormous wasp and then having a tingly arm for most the day!! we went to the see the chai ...

... We arrived at the limestone formations and they were beautiful. We jumped out of the boat to swim in the water, Aof and a couple of people jumped off the rocks. I really wanted to do this but was a bit worried about climbing up the rock in the first place, I decided I had already been swimming in caves and that was brave enough for now. It was time to go (and get back in the boat from the water with great difficulty, but had a bit of practice getting out of ...
