... it was really humid! The ocean was nice and warm (unlike the chilly Pacific) and Maddie kept me busy making castles and wave jumping. Up, down, up, down….it made me think of the two little ones at home, who I miss terribly.

... walked the beach and played in the shallow river water. People were walking 50-100 yards out into the river and it only went waist deep. The water was very warm and golden in color due to the high iron content of the surrounding sandstone. We had a beautiful sunset and nice big campfire to cap the evening.
