    Ballina to Southwest Rocks We drove 201 miles through farmlands, flatlands, some hills and past several wide rivers. Some rivers here are very muddy looking! Others wide, deep and beautiful. There were many eucalyptus trees and forests with road side warnings for koala bears and kangaroos. I keep looking for the wild koala bear! Knowing they sleep 20 hours a day makes it unlikely.     Day 1 Our car was delivered at 9.00am followed by a quick demo of how to put up the tents and where everything was. It has more kitchen utensils than we had in our flat and luckily has an axe in case we get flagged down by any trucks.
