A nice gentle start on the slopes
First day off!!!! and first morning of sunshine! whooohooo! After a very un-seasonnaire evening of early to bed Beth and I met up with Sarina,Matt and Nat. All of whom have promised me that they are equally pants on snow as I am. They lied.

This morning is supposed to be the team meet on the mountain but as last night was a big one for some and I don't want to be slowing the group up on everyone's first opportunity to get on the hill I opt for trying to get some jobs done and some resort navigation.

Team dinner at 14
... fig chutney and toasts and then-yes more!-honeycomb and apple parfait with apple sorbet. My goodness! The most incredible meal I've ever had. The chefs are outstanding. The service was smooth and charming, so impressed with the hosts.
After finishing our drinks in the lounge the team head out for a few drinks on the town. I'm entirely sure that Verbier nightlife is quite me. Very different to La Ros vibe of fun and friendly. I need to do a bit more expolring to find my fit I think.

Je suisse arrivee
Well after an epic road trip we arrived in Verbier just in time for dinner. Would have been nice to have a spruce up would have been good before meeting everyone! Got to see my treatments rooms-so lovely! The chalet No14 is beautiful and our apartment is kitted out well. I'm living with Ben and Vicky who wil run one chelet together and sharing a room with Beth who works in No 14.
Right I'm off to have a wander round my new town, catch you later!
