We spent the next couple of hours around this great city before meeting down at the bear display on the edge of town. Unfortunately they were off on vacation, so we were not able to see them this time.

From here we caught a cable car part-way up the mountain and then began the trek to our lunch destination – the village of Mürren. It took a little over an hour and a half and that included a half way stop for coffee and hot chocolate. All the while the views were getting more and more amazing.

After all the rain last night, by 9am the sun came out again and a lovely morning. It was a relief as this river can flood quite quickly if there is a lot of rain.
John did the Dutch thing again mopping the decks with the rain water as this time there were midges in with the dust.
