    (Got moved to Athens Studios because Athens Backpackers was closed for renovation)

    Pros: LOCATION!! Free breakfast, overall pretty clean. 6 euro walking tour. Free shot at their bar.
    Cons: really hard bed, loud throughout the night from cars/people talking outside

    After touching down in Athens and some issues we faced with navigating to the hotel we ventured out for some food with gyros and souvlaki on the menu. After that we wandered the streets through the plaka district, up to the arch of Hadrian and down to get some gelato and then back to the hostel to chill out for a little bit. Our hostel might I add was awesome, practically had the whole place to ourselves and we could see the acropolis from our balcony. We then ate our dinner ...

    ... to even see the beauty of it. The Parthenon has been under excavation and reconstruction since the 1980’s and does not have an ending date in site. Even with the cranes and all the scaffolding, it was interesting to see the massive structure.
