Crossed into the province of Saskatchewan today, heading for Regina SK. Not a super long travel day, lots of rain & construction, roads for the most part much better today. Gained an hour today, now on Mountain time, got the last site at Kings Acres Campground in Regina! Back in site so unhooked the car, will go out for some dinner. ... happy and grateful that I'd had the chance to be here, and do all these amazing things, making so many new friends, rather than sad and miserable that I had to leave them all behind. Although it does make it harder when they're getting upset and I'm trying not to!

It was of course also time to say goodbye to my trusty little car, which had seen me safely through storm, blizzard, icy roads and everything else Manitoba's weather and sometimes horrible roads ...

... evening! He said he always hoped when he was a kid that it wouldn't snow on the 31st so that he could stay out for longer. It began snowing here last year on this date, apparently, but not in was super cold though. The kids wore some amazing costumes to school on the day, and there was a fantastic carved pumpkin display in the school library, which two of our class won a prize for.
