The long ride to Bromo

A travel blog entry by globalwanderers on Dec 18, 2013

... transfer to Bali. If I had my time over again I would get the 150IR transfer to Bromo and do the rest ourselves. We stayed a night at the ****** over rated Cemoro Indah Lodge. I
could not believe for an extra night they were charging $50 for a
place that look liked it had not been touched since the 1960s. The
following morning, a little way down the hill we found a smashing new
clean and modern guesthouse for 200 IR. We did not do ...

Last Day @ PNTC :( Too Many Good-byes!

... well over the last 6 weeks. It was weird to think that we wouldn't be coming back to PNTC after this! We had invited Nawang and Titi out for a nice lunch at LaLaa resto as a token of our appreciation for all the help they have given us during our time at PNTC. Thankfully Nawang was feeling well enough to join. We had been to LaLaa once before and it is a fairly expensive/high-end seafood restaurant (by Solo standards) so it was a nice treat. I didn't completely forget any steps and I managed not to fall on my butt in the paint, which was really slippery! The dance felt like it flew by. ...

Al Pacino

... nibble at your feet. It's supposed to be kind of like a spa treatment but I really didn't enjoy the feeling. To split up the bike ride even more we stopped for iced coffee too on the way home. The place was called Es Haus and the kind of coffee we got was called Al Pacino. It was a coffee with Oreo mixed into it, it was so good! It was so hot biking today. I thought I was crazy but apparently it was 33C today, 41C with humidity. ...

Temples and waterfall

A travel blog entry by sonjachristine7 on Aug 25, 2013

... was the forest tea, which was a red ginger one, but I also liked the mint. I bought lots of tea to take home for presents. I was ready to go home by this point but we decided to visit a nearby waterfall on the way. It was lame. I started to get really homesick while here (I don't know why) but I missed Lewis like crazy. I kept thinking of that awesome hike that we did ...
