... also known for its waffles. Well. It's for good reason. That waffle was the best waffle I have ever consumed. I wish I had another one right now. When all the waffles were gone we meandered over to the Historium. It's a pretty neat interactive historic movie followed by a museum. The croquettes were just as my book described, crispy on the outside with the shrimp filling on the inside perfectly cooked and seasoned. Happiness!!!
After lunch, it was time to head to Brussels, the train doesn't take long but after a leisurely day I knew it was time to go. Jaey and I walked ...

... found the tourist town spectacular with the chocolates, buildings, chocolates, canals, chocolates, horse drawn carriages and did we mention the Belgian Chocolates!!! The hot chocolates were to die for....... melted chocolate in milk.....and extremely expensive.....but well worth the experience!

We wandered the area exploring the small but busy streets, with little cottage shop fronts. It was easy to imagine a the tourist town in winter being an icy ...
