... paths were quite charming (other than trying to roll you suitcase over them - it which case it inspired creativity as we navigated the smoothest path to avoid our arms jostling out of their sockets). There are 12km of canals that weave through the town, which just add to the ambience. Locals tell us that Brugge is sometimes referred to as “little Venice of the North”.

... it to Brugs Beertje. We had the best time. We met some people from London and Amsterdam. They were so much fun. We talked about America, Disney, Tourist, Religion (Easter), Beer and Alligators. ... Duxbury Bay call. We miss family and friends. Emily has had a birthday that needs to be celebrated, we have an important wedding to attend in June, and most importantly, Anna Rose is growing and changing faster than we can believe, so Emily and I will travel to Seattle next week to see our special girl (and her mom and dad!).
