... enjoyed an uneventful trip through the tunnel to France (despite a train breaking down in the tunnel only 2 days earlier and leaving passengers stranded 7 miles inside the tunnel for hours!).

Having forgotten to follow Mary G's fearfully sound advice on bringing one's own friendly pillow, I spent a fitful night fighting the full fat version provided by the Hotel O.
It was huge and firm enough and large enough to bolster up the Berlin Wall should it be in need of support.
My neck is not the Berlin Wall, so this morning might benefit from a gentle touch of Voltarol gel.

We woke to prolonged gurgling and rumblings... which after a few moments ...

... DO NOT do foreign exchange in small villages. BELGIAN BAKERIES - closed frpm 1215 to 1315: useful as well. CYCLE UPDATE: Cycling in Belgium is fantastic.
