I remember very clearly when Jenny decided that Greece was the place she had chosen for our next vacation. She had very excitedly told me that she had just watched Giada in Santorini and it was such a beautiful place that that's where she wanted to go. She also told me that we would need to go for a sail to the hot springs and it had to be on Captain Ted's because they make the most amazing looking food for lunch. Fast forward twelve months later ...

... eventually we made it to our first stop, a volcano climb. The day was super hot, and I was suffering from a terrible headache. The climb wasn't difficult but the heat and my condition made it tougher than I would have liked. It took about 30 minutes to get the the volcano summit, which was a filled crater of volcanic rock. The guide was super passionate about geology and wanted to explain the elements and magma and tectonic plates, and I just ...
