Todays blog post is going to be pretty short...we did not do too much today. It was our one year wedding anniversary and we decided to laze around in the sun and spend most of the day at the house. We started the morning with greek yogurt with fresh fruit and honey while sitting out and enjoying the view and then went on a short walk around town to check out the other end of Oia. We swung by the grocery store on the way ...

... dropped at a port far from the main town of Fira and have to take a tour bus back. The guide is very informative and tells us all about the island along the way, we get dropped near the bus station and the contiki group separates from the rest of the tour to catch a public bus to Oia, taking a public bus in Greece is a unique experience they use coaches so there's little standing room but they still try and cram as many people on as possible. Unfortunately we don't get long in ...

We were sitting over by the security check point for the luggage. It was interesting to watch. You first would check ...

... its a 15 min walk but it's along the freeway that does not have a walkway, so we decided to catch the bus in. We were told a 3min ride, they were right, 3min later, the bus driver was telling us end of line get off this cost is 1.80euro pp. anyway nice to be in town, it was so pretty all the white buildings and so many people, after the serenity of Kamari. So we walked and walked trying to find somewhere to eat, to many choices, and I think we could ...

... Meditteranea sea) was very refreshing.
We planned to do the three plus hours trek from Fira to Oia to watch the sunset but because it was so hot we decided bus was better options.

Oia is a picturesque village and people come from far and wide to see the sunsets. When I say people , well there would have been thousands all climbing the tiny cobble stone ...
