Lunch eaten and I set up the satnav to take me North out of town and up what looks like a wonderful coast road.

... the evening. It was there I discovered that is wasn't indigestion or longing that produced the god awful sounds but a desire to mingle with the guests. It was also one of the more entertaining moorings we experienced filling our night with music, singing, and sights not normally seen by the human eye. Also unpublishable.

... got to avoid that petrol station.... By the way, how can these people drink so much and yet be so good looking and healthy? I saw kids rowing and they were the only fat people that I have seen so far. Does this suggest that the Croatian metabolism is inverted? Those who exercise are condemned to be puddings and those who load up on beer, rakija, kolaci and burek are 'wunderkind'? Will this metabolic curiosity apply to me if I drink enough karlovacko?
