During the night I woke thinking that it was raining but it was just the sound of the stampeding river racing through the village. I woke to another very warm day, however, as Germany is more backward than I would ever have imagined, not only does this hotel not have wi-fi available, it appears that only one establishment in the village does so I can't check the weather forecasts. I am waking at 5:30 each morning in Burgeis because that is when the cows start mooing outside my window and although I am on the second floor they make a good alarm clock. And its very hot, luckily our 3rd site offered a lot of shade!

Enjoy the pictures.

Then we arrived at a station were a little tour train would hike us up to a castle called Rheinfels. It was mostly in ...

... of us in line to go inside the Bone Chapel! We couldn't stand another tour with them, so we decide to do the bone Chapel tomorrow. We went to another tram station- except it was on the ground instead of in the air- to the salt mines. It was another steep climb to the beginning of the tour, but we were occupied watching out for the slugs on the ground. When we got to the beginning of the tour, we scanned our tickets and the people handed us ...
