At ten minutes past the time the real fun begins. Arguing old people are my favourite. You can't hear what they are saying but as they stride along the gangway they would be saying "I told you the bus would not come in time", or "I knew it was more than a five minutes walk" or "why you queued all that time just to buy that stupid straw donkey I'll never know."
And now we reach the serious stage of the race. It is now twenty minutes ...
... just brilliant.
We then found our hotel and then proceeded to wander around the city center. We found
some really nice bars including one where a Ska band were playing outside.

In the morning
wandered around the town some more especially taking in Santemonte.
The bus ride back
took an alternative route which allowed us to see a lot more of the
... I got mine in today also). One of the reasons I'm so enthused about our location is this promenade. Walking beside the Mediterranean on a daily basis is just too much to comprehend. And, alternatively, being able to sit and watch people is certainly another plus.
After siesta, we took another walk and had a drink while watching the sunset.
Then on to the local music scene. So, every day/night there's live music somewhere....really Buzz's dream ...
... the service folks are light on their English but that allows Buzz to practice his Spanish frequently...he'll be fluent by the time we leave! Buzz has seen two topless ladies, unfortunately, they've both been 70+, but he's remaining hopeful. I guess if we ever come back I should buy a bikini so I just have some bottoms....oy, the beaches would clear out! Mas ...
... had settled back to its usual form though.
Next was some shopping. We were down to two dinner knives, as one by one the blades had come away from the handles. Cheap nasty Debenhams stuff! Carrefour provided us with an even cheaper nastier set, 24 items for €8. I don’t suppose they will last long, but it keeps Chinese children in employment. Bedding was the second problem.
