My birthday! We took the ferry and headed for Vila Real San Antonio (on the Portuguese side) in search of a special final Portuguese lunch but didn't manage to find exactly what we were after so headed back to Ayamonte for some tapas.

Today we didn't do too much, however Gen did take a dive to look at what was around the
prop – there was some seaweed left around the p bracket – so it looks as if whatever was on there had come off with the currents. After this we went to the island – the beach is very resortee and leading to the beach there were around 10 or so restuarants.

We left Tavira and headed for Spain or rather the river ...
... clamming thing a go. After an hour we found around 20 and one razor clam. Taking them back to the boat we put them in salt water for them to purge themselves.
In the evening we ate their cousins we'd bought the day before - they were just delicious!
