... you need to realize all of this in your head instead of rushing blindly like a lemming over a cliff to the check in desk and demanding explanations and generally making an **** of yourself,finally all your flight information is stored on their systems so they will know your situation and act accordingly but people refuse to trust the system and so end up giving the check in girl a hard time. ... Channel once again at 18:00hrs, only this time we were headed for the infamous Drake Passage and the White Continent.

... since it always seemed to be changing, weather-wise, of course, but also from block to block, restaurant to restaurant, and dog to mangy dog. ... before the Antarctic, but as Ushuaia is situated half way along the Beagle Channel, it's not quite the end of the world. To get closer, we decided to take a cruise down the Beagle Channel to the last sign of civilisation - the lighthouse at the end of the Channel, or as everything is dramatically called down here....the light house at the END OF THE WORLD !!
