... Buenos Aires but it was Saturday afternoon.

Later we went out looking for a restaurant but in vain. There was an Irish pub near the hotel but much as I love Ireland it went against the grain to eat there. In the end we ate in the hotel and it was a nice meal, just not up to some of the others we had had.

We took lots of pictures that day but we are having trouble downloading them so I'll add some ...

... next day we wandered around, which was only the 2 or 3 blocks that San Pedro consisted of and stopped for a much needed jug (or 2) of Cerveza. We were still buzzing from our desert fun in Bolivia so we decided not to explore the valleys and desert surrounding San Pedro until the next day. Unfortunately overnight I come down with a nasty cold and could barely get out of bed! Why why why did we wait a day!!! ...

... at the harbour we were even surprised to see a German fire truck. That made little sense but, hey, this is Valparaíso, just go with it.

We strolled back to the bus terminal along the harbour, looking at the boats, which were also colourful and had names like 'I love Jennifer'. Why not? I can really see why a lot of people actually stay here and rather do a day trip to Santiago.

... peacock. It was very majestic and graceful.

Other than that there has not been anything AMAZING to say about Chile. Ant and I are still indifferent to it. There hasn't been anything that has stood out to us about Chile. The food is whatever, the majority of the people are cocky, like many of the "European" wannabe countries here in S.A. They are nice, but the cockiness gets in the way ...
