Sammy stormed off in a huff cos they other boys hid his t-shirt when he went for swim in the sea, so we headed back to why not to finish our bucket! we took a moto back, even tho its only like 200m and it tried to get my guy to race rona's driver, "faster, faster, faster"!

The best place to dive, Nha Trang

... clearer.

The hardest thing to do under water is to control your buoyancy so you are constantly floating neutral, its all done with a single breathe.

After the second dive we headed back to shore and had a few hours spare before out next theory lesson. We couldn't resist the sea, and ended up chilling on the beach for the afternoon. The beach in Nha Trang is great but very steep, so when there are waves, they just jack up and dump on the beach, no good for surfing, but great ...

Mud baths, sleeper trains, cockroaches

... horrible! Really really packed in a tiny space, i had to get help reversing and going through doors with my backpack on front and back- knocked a few old ladies round the head. The train itself was loads worse- it was filthy and it smelt, and ppl had been in the beds just before us. We decided to just play games until we were tired enough...until we spotted cockraches! Soon our corridoor was full up of the other girls screaming ...

Aye aye aye!!!

... taking a cleansing shower, we headed out on the town. After seeing so many tombs and cemeteries for the last couple of weeks, we thought it would be a nice change to seek out my birthplace, which is no small feat and is akin to breaking the clue in the "Da Vinci Code". First, neither one of my parents actually remembered the hospital where i was born (i know i was an accident but geez, neither one of you? sniff... :o) ). Then, we find ...

... then usual on a hotel, just because it had a swimming pool! So the first day we splashed around AND even ordered a hot chocolate by the pool when it started to get chilly, (which by the way isn't often here!)

We found a really lovely little family run cafe by the beach to eat our dinner in, when we asked for stir fried veg and steamed rice, we were surprised to hear that they had no vegetable what so ever as a result of the flooding just 3 days ...

Beachside resort Nha Trang

... basically was everyone in the water with a life ring and a guy from the boat in a bigger floating device handing out cups of some type of tequila cocktail.
It was insane! The pics are up on Facebook if you want to have a nosey.
We all had a big night after the boat trip - drinking buckets of cocktails and dancing - so we had pretty sore heads the next morning!

Being very hungover today ...

Vietnam's Party Town

... look at but is set right on 6km of sandy beach. Nice!
Not long passed before we realised that there was a huge party on that night at the 'Sailing Club'.
Ten minutes after sitting down in a bar to have dinner we joined a group of ten people to drink a 'fish tank' full of spirits! Good fun and made for a lively evening!
The ...

... feeling from the cocktails) I took on the role of social sec, organising to meet some of the peeps from our trip in a bar later that night. I could not join my own self-created party though, as I took a turn for the worse and lay feeling sick in bed. Stupidly, when I mustered up the strength to go for dinner I ordered seafood spaghetti. Alas, shortly after I was not feeling well again. No detail needed there.

The day after we booked another night bus, headed for Hoi An.

... lay out on and we were on the bottom so we had a table to play cards on. They only bad thing about the train is the time, it left at 2pm and took 9 hours, so daytime traveling. There is no announcer to know when we arrive at our destination, not that it would've been in English anyway, but the coach attendant opens your cabin and starts folding the blanket, that's the hint.

So we made it late into ...
