    3 day stay

We booked for 3 days in a superior room and on arrival was upgraded to the deluxe accommodation. The huts are a good size for 2 with a nice size bathroom and a sit out verandah with an overhead roof so keeps it lovely and cool. The air con is the best yet! Works really well.
We have a tv in the room but does not work so not sure why it's provided. When we asked they said no tv's work here...? We also do not get supplied tea or coffee in the rooms which we found strange in 'deluxe' accommodation.
The pool is lovely, cleaned daily and plenty of sunbeds to choose from.
Overall the resort is great and would recommend to anyone. Well worth a stop over!

This was a quiet few days stay, very touristy here, markets selling the same stuff one stall after another.... Marcus has been unwell so trying to sleep it off so we have just been by the pool chillin and strolling around the town and seafront... Looking forward to tomorrow, we go to Phi Phi Don....

    Thailand - Round number 2

The Cambodia / Thailand land border crossing was certainly an interesting one! Grab your bags from the bus and head to Cambodia immigration to check out. Fingerprints were taken and dad certainly confused the staff with his one missing finger - haha. Carry all your luggage and walk in +40 heat for 15 minutes through no mans land and a street full of casinos. It's illegal to gamble in Thailand so the Thais head to no mans land where a bunch of casinos are located for this ...

... we then had to get back in the lovely rocking boat using a very short ladder. The trick was to somehow get one foot up by your ear and put it in the bottom rung then haul yourself using your arms up out of the water. Ok for all the 20 something's on the boat a bit if a farce for me. I did manage it though somehow!! Back out to the ocean and the waves are getting worse bit helped by all the other boats around. We stopped at ...

    Chinese bloody new year

... travel agent and looked on line for accommodation (along with a lot of other travellers unaware to the Chinese invasion) and while the travel agent rung around anyone she could I walked to every single hotel, guest house, hostel and bungalows to ask. Every single one was fully booked. It was now dark, Emma had had no luck on line either and the agent found one or 2 but by the time she tried to confirm it they had already sold out! At this rate we was going to be sleeping ...

... stunning and the sun shone the whole time apart from one day. We did a surf lesson here which we absolutely loved! We had so much fun surfing! Except Noosa has quite a lot of sharks and even thought there is a shark net they have been easily coming through. So at one point on the lesson we all got evacuated from the sea as there was a bull shark spotted by one of the surfers. It was pretty scary as there was helicopters and so many boats everywhere all of a sudden looking ...
