... they had were closed. The funicular was only running every 20-30 minutes, so I didn't want to get off and see if the restaurant at the middle funicular stop was open, only to find it wasn't and have to wait again. So, I went to the bottom and decided to eat at the first place I could find something at. That turned out to be a tiny restaurant, but it had great tomato soup.

... square of the old district is really impressive but I couldn't figure out how to read it. On the hour it performs a pantomime of moving characters and a skeleton rings the bell. We toured the Prague Castle (or at least what we could) and climbed the stairs at the St. Vitus Cathedral. The Cathedral, in Kaylie's opinion, is the greatest one we've seen yet. Unable to go inside due to a precession taking place (in which we chose not to partake), we decide the remain in awe of the exquisite exterior and climb the spire for a panoramic view of Prague. After we finished at the castle (about 3 hours) we decided to forgo the
donation to the Taxi Drivers Benevolent Fund and walk back into the city
area for a spot of lunch (it was much closer than we thought).

... we may have been under the influence and they weren't really as awesome as we thought!!!!! We had a lovely walk around the streets and headed home to our hotel right next to the airport. Which set the theme of our next night's accommodation.....right next to the second most busiest European airport - Frankfurt!
Before Frankfurt stop-off we stopped at Cologne and walked the streets and snapped some photo's of the huge Cologne cathedral. ...
