... near the apartment and already I feel revived and ready for the next 3 1/2 months. The actual neighborhood is quiet and calm, but a quick 5 minute walk down any of the staircases leading into ibiza and I have everything at my fingertips. Some might say this is possible in San An as well, but the buzz here is so much louder and vibrant. I found the paseo, beach, grocery stores, plenty of closed shops but enough open ones to make up for those that are closed. And the people. I sat ...

Maybe it was because in my mind its almost December, and although its fairly warm here still, above knee skirts and 3-4 inch heels that I would imagine a woman wearing to a fancy dinner or something that you would actually dress to the nines for, seems out of place for ...

There continue to be days where I wonder what possessed me to accept this placement in Ibiza of assisting with the teaching of English to high schoolers. This placement on an island that nearly completely shuts down after September. On this island where I am daily among those who speak not only Spanish (Castellano), but also Catalán, those who speak little English and various other languages of the world. In a climate where outside you will be warm in the sun and chilled ...

... Caribbean, Mexico, Fiji, Thailand, etc., but NEVER have I seen turquoise water like this. We were then picked up by a dinghy and brought to the shore to enjoy an amazing lunch at a restaurant beachside and barefoot in the sand. The seafood, the sangria, the people.......I am speechless to describe this day.
All we can say is thank you, Taryn. That was a triple ...
