... scared of falling down at night. I agreed and got my own berth so it was finally perfect :) The journey took approx. 8 hours and it was actually very pleasant because the cabin was air-conditioned, plus we didn't have to be worried (at least not sooo much) about our stuff because our cabin was full of foreigners.

After picking Kelly up from the airport on the 7th we spent a couple of nights in Bangkok so she could see the sights etc then we set of to hop the Thai islands. We probably picked a bad order to do these in and in hindsight should maybe not have tried to go to so many in the little time we had but it was a sense of wanting to see them all! First up was Ko phangang. We got here by taking the overnight train from Bangkok. Thankfully a much better journey than in Vietnam ...
