Currently sitting in the back of a taxi barreling down what I think is meant to be an organised road in a cab with no seatbelts, with Lily Allen blasting over the radio. Have missed Thailand. Our ship docked at 7 am in Thailand. We were scheduled to go on Essence of Old Bankok tour. The trip was 2 hrs from our port to the city of Bangkok where we first saw temple of Reclining Buddha. The Buddha was so large and made of gold.

... looking around the area and I could hear children singing so there may be a school of some kind there too. There is a cremation chimney where Fabio Polenghi, an Italian photographer killed during the 2010 military crackdown was cremated. Wat Khlong Toei is also said to be the first temple in Bangkok to cremate animals.
