... we walked out of the bathroom, we noticed a feral cat really different than regular feral cats- this one reminded me of my cousin Tracey’s- with really long back legs, no tail, and a different build. (I think they are Egyptian cats?) The cat’s back feet were even much larger than normal. I’m sure he could jump really high. We tried to pet him but he wouldn’t let us. After this we knew we were ...
Bar, Serbia and Montenegro mdaaI am always on the quest when I travel to see the world's biggest, highest, tallest, or whatever I can dig up or come across. This trip is no different of course so I am proud to present to you Europe's ugliest capital city. I am not making that up...I have read that in two different sources. Of course a city with that distinction got my curiosity and I made plans to stop there for a few hours on the way from Albania to the Montenegro ...
Podgorica, Serbia and Montenegro atlpilot36
Hello there!

Arrived in Podgorica with the rafting tour bus, CS Sasa picked me up with his car.. i already recocnized that he was member of queer-CS group, but i didnot mind, because actually he IS a couchsurfer... And i was right, he is a great guy. He is bisexual by the way, but not haunting or something. He is a really intelligent man, has got 2 master degrees and is working as a ...
Podgorica, Serbia and Montenegro timothei... to the sea. The "Montenegronian" language was born two years ago; but, it sounded like they were essentially speaking Serbian. My first driver, a twenty-one-year-old policeman returning from an overnight visit to a Serbian woman, said female Crna Gorilla's were very conservative romantically. My second driver, well-groomed and healthy-looking on the outside, dark and untrustworthy on the inside, spoke only about sex, in ...
Lake Biograd, Montenegro modernoddyseus... blue Adriatic sea hugging the bottoms of the cliffs we not so cautiously traveled. I asked Darko to slow down because he was driving like speed racer. He replied not to worry explaining he could drive these roads blindfolded he knew them well. I thought to myself, better safe than sorry buddy. It is a good thing I had some prescription Xanax with me, I popped one, maybe two just to relax while simultaneously trying to hide this act from Darko since he hated drugs in general ...
Serbia and Montenegro, Serbia lpcyu... Podgoricas train station is hardly inspiring. In fact I would venture to say it was the worst train station I've ever been through- with the notable exception of Llantwit Major. It seemed to lack any facilities and I had to walk across the track to get to the main building and into the city. You'd be forgiven for muttering the word "shithole" upon leaving the train station. The surrounding area consists of a few shoddy looking ...
Podgorica, Montenegro englishanddrunk... Becici beach It is considered to be one of the most beautiful and largest beaches on the south part of the Adriatic Sea. It is sandy, 1950m long and goes from Zavale to Djevistenja. In 1935 it won the "Grand Prix" in Paris as the most beautiful beach in Europe. As a part of the background there is a complex tourist settlement. It can be considered to be a bathing zone, sport zone, the ...
Budva,Montenegro, Montenegro serenydad... not knowing automatic, just as my companions were surprised that I cannot drive stick. First stop on our roadtrip was Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans. It's the largest bird sanctuary and remaining pelican habitat in Europe. There must be something with me and birds that start with the letter "p". Didn't see a live pelican, only herons. But when we were at Virpazar and the Planica outlook, came across an outlandishly extravagent ...
Lake Skadar, Montenegro lilycMontenegro is not part of Serbia. Montenegro is not part of Serbia. Montenegro is not part of Serbia. We have to put this in the travel log at least 3 times as we heard this fact about 100 times in our 2 day visit to coastal Montenegro. While the rest of the world was making their beer can hats getting ready for the worldcup, Montenegro was going through its 2006 referendum that officially made them separate ...
Ulcijn and Kotor, Serbia and Montenegro mjlankers... If you prefer a whole day on the beach, getting away from the main resorts is a good idea. There are numerous bays, some protected by small rocky islets, where you can enjoy the Adriatic in a more peaceful environment. We found a particular gem with the help of the local tourist office between two off-limit hotel beaches. The water is clear, you can rent overpriced seats-umbrellas and sea-food is quite good.
