    ... br> The fathers pulled apart a large round loaf of bread to see who the couple would favour & happily it was equal. The bread was then cut into small pieces which we ate.While Jess& Gligor went for photos, the party continued in the apartment with dancing & singing under a disco ball & lights. Huge fun! About 5.30pm taxis arrived to take us all to Holy Mother of God church. There were back to back weddings & ours was for 6pm.

    ... past I foolishly believed that by the time we reached Sofia, the weather would improve, but this wasn't to be the case. The lightening had stopped, but the rain continued to hammer down, so a short walk to the hostel, soon became a short taxi ride. Having arrived around midnight, I dashed out to a cashpoint to pay for the hostel, got some sleep before my alarm sounded at 6!

    At that time I headed down to the bus station to catch what I thought was a 7am bus ...

    ... pictures at night, and it looks great at night as well. Unfortunately, the rain persisted the whole time I was out, so the pictures weren’t as good as I was hoping.

    I think I might have changed my plan going forward too. I was going to go north to Serbia, but I think I might go to Kosovo for a night, then Montenegro, and then Serbia. I think that makes more sense logically. We’ll see what happens ...

    ... year the only other faces you would see were Albanians, we saw one Asian guy when we were in Ohrid and it rocked our worlds that we had to take him out with us all night!Seeing all these tourists was awesome, I noticed more Macedonians in the shops speaking English. l I think this is a great turning point for this city but Vesna told me the people in Macedonia are having mixed feelings with all the new monuments being built, why is it only happening ...

    ... at to he station that were offering rooms to rent for the night for 20 euro. I decided to take one of these rooms. I ended up having a room completely to myself. About 3 am I woke up and was thankful that I had opted for this room, it was pouring rain and thundering outside.
