... perhaps the best in Kosovo in 100 years because of an especially sunny summer.

To be sure not to show any kind of ethnic favoritism, our stop after lunch was at the Petrovic Family Winery, a very small producer in a nearby Serbian village named Hoce Madhe. The small wine tasting cellar was decked out with lots of little munchies on platters on top the barrels that served as tables. Again the pours were generous and some of their wines blends. They mentioned one of their ...

... Mother Theresa was born in Skopje which explained why there was a MT museum, memorial and a few statues of her.

We got to our taxi to the bus stop with time to spare and still had some Macidonian cash to spend so I left Jamie to guard the bags and went to the nearby supermarket to buy some essentials like toothbrushes and chewing gum. Had a weird experience of a rep for one of the toothpaste brands being in there telling me about toothpaste promotions in ...

... when we see what people here are trying to deal with.

We arrived at our hotel in Sofia just before 7pm. The Hilton - very nice. We just had time to quickly change and head down to the bar for a pre dinner drink with Ian and Cheryl and then in to a really nice buffet dinner. After dinner we were all a bit whacked after our big day on the bus and so have all headed off to bed. I'm just finishing this off and then it will be lights out for me too.
