        ... cross to the old bazaar area. We also visited the Memorial House of Mother Theresa. It's quite small with some photos of her early life, some memorabilia and photos of her meeting dignatories. What a shock it must have been for a young girl of 18 to go to India. But there was not a lot about exactly what she did in India other than "her work with the poor". On the top floor there is an unusual glass church.

        Late in the day we crossed into Serbia.

        My hostel, had given great instructions and I found them very quickly after arriving and getting Wi-Fi in Skopje. The taxi drives surround the bus depot like flies to dead meat.         ... a sign that said "Recognize Macedonia!" I thought "What a weird sign." Now I understand it, because Macedonia wasn't recognized internationally as an independent country. I still don't know why they were protesting in Madison, Wisconsin though.
